HOLY WEEK INFORMATION

Gone To Glory

Photo by Pedro Dias on Unsplash

Please keep Shelli and Tim Mosser in your prayers. They are friends of ours from Nebraska and are sick with covid-19. Tim is in the hospital and is not doing well and Shelli is at home recovering, but can’t be with Tim. Please pray for healing and comfort and strength for both of them.

Please say a prayer for Marie Grace. She is asking for God’s help with her landlord, who refuses to address some major leaking in her house. It has caused black mold and with that, health issues for Marie. Please pray that her landlord’s heart will soften and that he will fix the issue.

Prayer Requests

Duane and Sandy Church have asked for prayers for Duane’s brother, Jerry who lives in Indiana. He will be having open-heart surgery on Wednesday, 4/21. Please pray for comfort and peace for Jerry and his family.

Sara informs us that her Dad is doing much better and is being treated for pneumonia. His fever is gone and the best part is that he’s recovering at home at their assisted living facility with Mom. She thanks us for our prayers!

Dick and Mary Ann Gayle have asked for prayers for the Wiley family who is mourning the loss of 2 brothers/sons due to Covid-19.

Please keep B.J. Phillipson in your prayers as she mourns the loss of her father, Charles Walwyn Sr.

Don’t forget to email your prayer requests to

office@nsumc.com or the tab on the website by Thursday morning so they can be included in

Sunday’s Reminder that week.

To learn more about the work of UMCOR and how your gifts are used at 100% to fund projects over personnel go to www.umcmission.org. Current contributions that are of a critical need include disaster relief, helping to overcome the Coronavirus in other countries, and in areas where there is a great need. Your generosity can also be sent through NUSMC when your gift is marked “UMCOR.”
